Hello, I'm Ben V.

My best days are spent with family and friends, my better days are when I can wrangle those people outdoors. I'm happiest when living on a mountain, wind biting at my cheeks, or when I'm submerged in water. The cold makes me feel alive! I come from a large family, with ten aunts and uncles, dozens of cousins, three sisters, and nieces and nephews galore. My girlfriend and I share a crazy dog, Lupine, named after the wildflower, he's very wolf-like. Photography has been a passion of mine since I was 14. I've been making photographs of my family for ages and documenting co-workers and friends all the while. I have an obsession to photograph!
