Hello, I'm Teresa .

Hello Families! I’m so happy you've found yourself here. I'm Teresa, a family photographer based in the best city on earth, San Diego, CA.  A jungle gym of a city for all cyclist lovers, a place where the sun is always beaming and you can eat all the tacos you could possibly imagine. I love San Diego so much, and one of the best parts about this city is how unique and diverse everyone is.  Meeting new families is definitely one of the highlights of being a family photographer. About my approach, which isn't for everyone so I like to be totally transparent about it right from the start, I am documentary/photojournalist photographer, and I want to capture true emotions.  I start off each session with one priority in mind and that is to document our time together in the most genuine way possible. I am a photographer for the wild and free family.  The adventurous clan looking to have fun, laugh and smile with one another, getup and move and maybe get a little wet (beach shoot anyone?).  Some of my favorite locations include: cactus gardens in Balboa Park, Joshua Tree, Mount Laguna, Lake Cuyamaca, La Jolla Eucalyptus Grove, Torrey Pines, County Fairs, and the list goes on! Basically any location that best fits your family I'm game to travel to.  While I do take a photojournalistic approach, I will at times direct the family so everyone feels more comfortable in the environment and in front of the camera.  I shoot the majority of the session candid, looking for authentic moments you share between each other.  My style of documentary photography will tell the unscripted story of our time together.  Rather than a set of high scripted poses.  I look for the in-between, capturing moments as they happen organically in front of me. Together we will create living moments you can revisit over and over. It's not just about snapping a photograph, but how you translate the feelings in front of you and bring those moments to life in every image. So who's ready?
